Fahadh Faasil of 'Pushpa' fame has revealed that he has a neurodivergence disorder, which was diagnosed when he was 41. He is suffering from adult ADHD, where ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
Speaking at an institution in Kerala meant for disabled children, the 'Aavesham' actor said that childhood ADHD is curable but adult ADHD is not. It can only be treated.
A Mayo Clinic post says that adults with ADHD may find it "difficult to focus and prioritize, leading to missed deadlines and forgotten meetings or social plans." The portal also adds, "The inability to control impulses can range from impatience waiting in line or driving in traffic to mood swings and outbursts of anger."
Fahadh will be seen as the main antagonist in 'Pushpa 2', to be released in theatres on August 15. The Allu Arjun-Sukumar film is a pan-Indian outing.
