Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and 'HanuMan' director Prasanth Varma have parted ways officially. They will NOT be doing 'Rakshas' under the aegis of Mythri Movie Makers anymore.
The team today said that this is not the ideal time to make the film. "Prasanth Varma is a very special talent. We met and explored the idea of a film together. Hopefully we will collaborate on something exciting in the future," the 'Padmaavat' and 'Gully Boy' actor said in a joint statement issued by him along with the makers.
On his part, the 'AWE' and 'Zombie Reddy' maker said, “Ranveer’s energy and talent is rare to find. We shall manifest our forces combining soon sometime in the future."
Mythri Movie Makers seems to have navigated the whole issue carefully so as not to burn the bridges with anybody involved. Producers Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar were allegedly not informed by Ranveer about his decision to walk out of the project a few days ago. The Bollywood actor allegedly conveyed his decision to a Bollywood media house without showing the courtesy to talk with the producers, a gossip column recently said.
