Movie merchandise for promotions can take many forms, ranging from practical items to collectible memorabilia. Home goods, clothing, accessories, toys, collectibles, etc. are some of the examples. Telugu movies such as 'Baahubali', 'Kalki 2898 AD', among others, have seen merchandise launched by exhibitors/makers. In the latest instance, it is the turn of 'Pushpa 2', which is scheduled to hit the cinemas on December 5.
Regal Movies, the leading overseas multiplex chain, has floated collectibles for the Allu Arjun-starrer. "Ready to rule? Get the exclusive Pushpa 2 collectibles and take the action home with you! Only at Regal. #Pushpa2 #RegalMovies (sic)," the chain wrote on social media. Popcorn packs will come with stills from the sequel imprinted.
'Pushpa 2', also starring Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil and others, is directed by Sukumar. It is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. 'Pushpa 2' has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
The film's trailer date will be made official later this week. "Dubbing for all languages has started and is happening simultaneously. The hero has completed dubbing for the first half. We will be announcing the trailer date and all the event details in the next 3-4 days," a key member of Allu Arjun's team said.
