Naveen Kalyan planned to direct a film based on the clashes between two groups in Orugallu, something similar to Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Raktha Charitra’. Titled ‘Orugallu’, he is going to direct this movie on Arnav Movies banner after the completion of his current film ‘Damarukam’ starring Nagarjuna and Anushka in the lead. He claims that the film got delayed due to his ill health conditions. “The Hyderabad Court has restricted Nagarjuna’s upcoming film from using the title ‘Damarukam’. The title controversy is still going on. Meanwhile the new film ‘Orugallu’ will go on the sets soon. The story is based on the incidents that occurred in ‘Orugallu’ at one point of time. The film will be made with both new and old artists. Akkaladevi Venkataramana is the co-producer.
