Shooting of ‘Ongole Gitta’ was stopped due to cyclone storm Nilam which hit across north Tamil Nadu coast near Mahabalipuram and south Andhra Pradesh coast. Since the shooting location is flooded with water, it will resume only after the situation comes back to normal. Hero Ram mentioned in twitter: ““Shoot disrupted due to heavy rain n wind. I doubt if we could continue tomorrow.location flooded..#OngoleGitha ….please be safe people.”
The film is taking shape under the direction of Bommarillu Bhaskar. The first shooting schedule was held in Guntur, the next in Hyderabad and the 3rd started in August end in Tanuku which is still continuing there. According to Ram, ‘Ongole Githa’ will be a complete Bhaskar’s film with his trade mark entertaining love story and cute relations. Kriti Karbanda is playing Ram’s love interest. BVSN Prasad is producing it. Musical scores are being rendered by G V Prakash Kumar.
