Rebel star Krishnam Raju will be seen in a powerful role in V Samudra’s directed movie ‘Chandi’ starring Priyamani in title role. The actor is playing Ashok Gajapathi Raju, a freedom-fighter, leader of a village and father to Priyamani.
Co-producer Satya Mummidi said, “Krishnam Raju’s character will be very powerful in the film as a freedom fighter, leader of a village and as Priyamani’s father. His get-up and dialogues are wonderful in this film and are on par with his roles in ‘Bobbili Brahmanna’, ‘Palnati Paurusham’ and ‘Taandrapapa Rayudu’. His character in this film is sure to impress his fans as well as Prabhas’s fans. The 3rd shooting schedule took place from March 22nd to April 10th. The song shoot will happen from 17th onwards.”
Other star cast in the movie is Aashish Vidhyardhi (main villain), Vinod Kumar, Nagendra Babu, Supreeth, Ranganath, Aali, Posani Krishna Murali, Jeevi, Thagubotu Ramesh, Telangana Sakuntala, etc.
