Omix Creations banner has recently released a heroine centric movie titled ‘Chandi’ with Priyamani in title role and Krishnam Raju and Sarath Kumar in pivotal roles. V Samudra directed this film and Dr Sreenu Babu Y produced it. The film unit along with AP NGOs met Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy recently to present a memorandum on allotment of plots for Grade 4 Employees to build houses. Every state government employee in irrigation department (those who supply water for fields) from Ramanayyapet Channel in Kakinadu Mandal, Kakinadu division belonging within the diameter of 3.5 to 4.5 kilometers were allotted 120 sq yards in 2001. However the related documents did not reach the deserved candidates. Despite making efforts to get the documents for several days, there could not be any assurance regarding the allotment. The ‘Chandi’ unit which learnt about this decided to bring it to the notice of Chief Minister by submitting the memorandum and in return got assurance from chief minister for the justice to be done to those affected. Director Samudra and co-producer Mummidi Satya were among those who visited CM.
