Audio of Priyamani starrer ‘Chandi’ was released on Tuesday in Hyderabad. Bellamkonda Suresh released the big CD and presented it to Krishnam Raju. B Gopal released the trailer. Other prominent guests were Ramesh Puppala, A S Ravi Kumar Choudary, SVR Media Shoba Rani, Shyamala Devi and Sundeep Kishan. Action entertainer ‘Chandi’ starring Priyamani in title role and Krishnam Raju and Sarath Kumar in key roles is directed by Sumudra and produced by Dr Srinu Babu G on Omix Creations banner.
Bellamkonda Suresh said, “Rebel star Krishnamraju is a leading hero and a leading producer. I watched the trailer. He rocked in the role of Alluri. This character has got lot of technical values. I wish this film to earn lot of profits to producers.”
Shoba Rani said, “Songs are good. Trailer is also excellent. One can understand by it the range of the film. I wish the audio and the film a big hit.”
Ramesh Puppala said, “Trailer is outstanding. It reminded me of Krishnam Raju’s ‘Taandra Paparayudu’ and ‘Katakatala Rudrayya’. Priyamani is a good artist. Samudra is a producers’ director. I wish this film a grand success.”
Shyamala Devi said, “Krishnam Raju garu did the character Alluri Seetarama Raju. It was his long time wish to do this character. I’m happy to note that his wish got finally fulfilled. All songs are good. Priyamani gave wonderful performance. ‘Chandi’ will take Samudra to next level.”
Priyamani said, “I never expected such a grand audio function for a lady oriented film. ‘Chandi’ is being made with a good subject. I was impressed by the story and immediately agreed to do it. I thank Samudra for doing one such different film with him. Krishnam Raju garu did a vey good role. I played his daughter in this film. Sarath Kumar’s character is also key to the story. Shankar music is wonderful.”
Samudra said, “One should protect Alluri Seetarama Raju in their hearts because he is such a great human being. Krishnam Raju garu did that character in our film. Priyamani’s performance and her dialogue delivery is superb. The story concept is although the woman is beautiful, she will turn Chandi when she gets anger. Shankar rendered outstanding music, especially the song on Alluri. This is my third film with Vasu. Good producers are being introduced through this film. Writer has provided a good script. Sarath Kumar played a key role. I hope the audience will make the audio and the film a big hit.”
Krishnam Raju said, “It’s a good film with a good story. I could sense some kind of affection in the producers. I along with my brother produced ‘Krishnaveni’ with NTR. NTR found the same kind of affection in us when he visited the 100 days function of that film. I’m very happy that the producers have chosen a lady oriented subject for their first film. Priyamani is a good actress. I wish her to receive many more awards.”
B Gopal said, “Title is good and so as the trailer. Krishnam Raju is my favourite actor. He did a very good role in this film. Priyamani is a national award winner. Her performance in this film is also good. Samudra is the man who works very hard. I hope this movie becomes a big hit and earn many more offers to him.”
Sundeep Kishan, who also attended the audio function said, “Priyamani is a good friend of mine in the film industry right from the time I was working for Gautham Menon. I used to address her as Lady Don and she is playing exactly the same in this film. I wish this film also will be a big hit for Priyamani at the time she saw the success through ‘Chennai Express’. Both my mom and my grandma like Krishnam Raju’s films. I too grew up watching his films.”
Director Eeshwar Reddy said, “Samudra and I worked for Muthyala Subbayya. We are very friendly. I watched ‘Chandi’ recently. It’s an excellent movie. Priyamani’s dialogues will make the audience whistle in theatres. S R Shankar renders good songs.”
Producer SR Shankar said, “I never thought that the audio of my first film will be release so grandly. I’m really happy to make such a big film. I’m also happy to work with the national award winner Priyamani.”
Story writer Srinivas, hero Manoj Nandam, AS Ravikumar Choudary, Raja Ravindra, Nani Krishna, Anji Sreenu, Jeevi and others also spoke in the audio function.
