After Vishnu’s ‘Dhenikaina Ready’, it’s now Ravi Teja’s ‘Balupu’ the target for Brahmin community. A dialogue in ‘Balupu’ trailer is said to have irked them and has led to complaint against the film to AP Film Chamber of Commerce.
According to Mr Dronamraju Ravikumar, youth president of AP Brahmana Seva Sangha Samakhya, a few dialogues in trailer had hurt the sentiments of Brahmin community. Hence they want the censor board members to make necessary cuts before issuing the certificate to the film.
The Brahmin organizations also demanded that makers of the film should remove the trailer from all TV channels. On the other hand, filmmaker Gopichand Malineni says that his intention is not to hurt anyone’s feelings but just to conclude the controversy in a positive manner in this movie. He concludes saying that the Brahmin organizations are invited to watch the film before it gets censored.
This PVP Cinema’s ‘Balupu’ under Gopichand Malineni’s direction starring Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan and Anjali in lead roles is slated for release on June 28th.
