Movie Moghul Dr. D. Ramanaidu garu is no more. The founder of Suresh Productions, who is battling cancer, has passed away on Wednesday, February 18. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer more than 13 years ago.
Ramanaidu garu holds the Guinness Book of World Records having produced more than 150 films in 13 languages. He has also served as a member of parliament for the Bapatala constituency of Guntur District in the 13th Lok Sabha from 1999–2004. He received the Dada Saheb Phalke Award in the year 2009 for Lifetime Achievement in the film industry for his outstanding contribution to the growth and development of Indian cinema.
