The shooting Soubhagya Chitra SCT’s joint venture ‘Sri Satya Sai Baba’ is taking fast shape in the hands of director Koi Ramakrishna who brought visual wonders like Ammoru’, ‘Arundhathi’ and Devullu’. Karatam Rambabu is the producer. The film which is being made based on the life story of Puttaparthi Sai Baba has the music by Music Maestro Ilayaraja. Interesting thing is that Jonnavithula has provided lyrics for 14 songs. At present, shooing of some crucial scenes on major cast is going on. All the incidents that happened in Puttaparthi will be presented in the film as it is. Currently, the shooting is going on at a specially designed huge set ‘Prashanthi Nilayam’ in Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad. ‘Sri Satya Sai Baba’ is a wonderful film which will showcase the life story of Puttaparthi Sai Baba. We all know that Sai baba has started a program which never seen anywhere in the world called Cashless Free Heart Surgery. Still it is running successfully. The film describes many such things that happened in Sai Baba’s life.
Malayalam actor Sreejith Vijay is playing Puttaparthi Sai Baba role. Jaya Prada is playing Sai Baba’s mother, while Sarath Babu is playing his father. Ramesh Mehanti, who worked as makeup man for Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, is working for this film. Re-recording of songs has already been completed. Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna has sung his last song for this film. His song will stand out as highlight for this film. Prominent playback singers like SP Balasubramanyam, Vandemataram Srinivas, Chitra, Haricharan, Vijay Prakash, Kavitha Krishnamurthy, Kailash Kher, Sukhwinder Singh, Malladi Brothers, Andrea Jeremiah and Tippu and some others have rendered their voice to the songs. Famous cinematographer Vasu is handling the camera.
