The makers of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer ‘2.0’ have planned an extremely unique promotional strategies. The second instalment of ‘Robot’, ‘2.0’, promotions are bigger than imagination. The film unit has started promotions not only in India, but in US too. The makers on Tuesday released a 100-foot-tall hot air giant balloon with life size portraits of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. The balloon was seen floating in the air across the famous ‘Hollywood’ signage in Los Angeles US. The promotions indeed indicates the massiveness of the film. The makers are now planning to move to places like London, Dubai, San Francisco, Europe, Australia and various cities of India for promotions. The producers of Lyca Productions have reportedly earmarked Rs 40 crore just for the film promotions.
Director Shankar’s sci-fi film ‘2.0’ is the most-awaited Indian film worldwide after SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali 2’. The film has music by Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman. Grand audio launch is being planned in Dubai. Audio album will be released in October. The film which was supposed to be released for this Diwali, was postponed to January 25, 2018.
