Rajinikanth had gone to USA for treatment is old news. Right in time during the release of ‘Kabali’ the actor was back. Superstar was shooting simultaneously for Kabali and Shankar’s ‘2.0’. But due to his illness Shankar’s film shooting was stopped.
Once Rajini was back Shankar wanted to resume the shoot but superstar wanted some more time to recover. Now Rajini is fit and fine and will be joining the shoot of this film from the 23rd of September. Rajinikanth has been paired with Amy Jackson in this film. Akshay Kumar is playing the villain’s role. Music will be given by A R Rahman.
