Veteran director Kodi Ramakrishna has breathed his last. He passed away at the AIG Hopital in Gachibowli. The director was suffering from lungs infection and was being treated for the same.
Kodi Ramakrishna has directed more than 100 films of different kinds. He is popular for the films Arundhati, Ahuti, Intlo Ramayya Veedilo Krishnayya, Devi, Shatruvu and Devullu.
Not only in Tollywood, he was also popular in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi film industry. He started his career as director with Intlo Ramaiah Veedhilo Krishnaiah with Chiranjeevi in lead role. His last directorial venture was Kannada film Nagarahaavu, which released in 2016.
