Sri Reddy is playing a role close to her real life character in the movie, 'Climax', directed by Bhavani Shankar, who won awards at seven international festivals for this 'Dream' movie.
This movie also stars Rajendra Prasad, Prudhvi Raj, Siva Shankar master, Sasha Singh, Ramesh and Chandu in important roles. P.Rajeswar Reddy and K.Karunakar Reddy are the producers.
Director Bhavani Shankar said, "It's a murder mystery in a political backdrop. The story is very fresh and every character will be important. Sri Reddy will be seen as a controversial actress, who speaks her mind and stands by her principles at any cost, not getting scared of powerful people. This film will not have stereotyped characters and scenes will be very different".
Sri Reddy said, "I played a controversial actress in this crime thriller. My character is very important in this movie. It will change the direction of the story. Every scene and dialogue of mine will be very good. I thank director Bhavani Shankar and the team for approaching me".
Producer P.Rajeshwar Reddy said, "'Climax' will remain as a memorable film in our career. The shooting is nearing completion. We've shot the film completely in Hyderabad. A song will be shot at a huge set erected at Ramoji Film City soon".
