Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was martyred in the 26/11 attacks, is going to be immortalized by actor Adivi Sesh in the Hindi-Telugu bilingual 'Major'. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the film is the result of painstaking research done by Sesh.
Years after he saw the NSG commando's photo on TV, Sesh met with Sandeep’s parents several times to convince them that he would like to tell their son's story on the big screen. "At first, they didn't believe me," he said. The 'Evaru' actor got physically trained to look the part. The Look Test poster was released today because Sandeep Unnikrishnan lost his life on November 27.
The movie's First Look will be out on December 17. Bankrolled by Mahesh Babu and A+S Entertainments, this one also features Sobhita Dhulipala and Saiee Manjrekar.
It's slated for a Summer 2021 release.
