Prabhas has adopted 1,650 acres of forest land near Dundigal in Hyderabad. Rajya Sabha parliamentarian Joginapally Santosh Kumar has spearheaded the adoption drive. In May, the 'Baahubali' actor participated in a green drive under his aegis. Since then, the adoption of the forest land for environmental conservation has been on the checklist of the 'Saaho' sensation.
"The 'Radhe Shyam' actor has adopted the aforementioned area on Khajipalli Urban Forest Block. He is also committed to taking care of the expenses towards developing an urban Eco-park in the block. The part will be named by in the memory of Prabhas' father, UVS Raju," a note from the actor's camp says.
A donation of Rs 2 Cr has been made by him towards the expenses.
