'Telangana Devudu' has locked its release date. The film will release on April 23. Friendly Star Srikanth is playing the titular role.
The drama is based on the life of a great man who led the movement for statehood for Telangana, the makers said.
Starring Jishan Usman as the hero, the film is produced by Mohd. Zakir Usman of Max Lab Pvt. Ltd. Directed by Padathya Harish, the film features more than 50 actors.
The director has thanked actor Srikanth for boosting the energy of the entire unit.
The producer said that the film chronicles the Telangana movement and its ramifications. Jishan Usman, the hero, is his son. "Our film is in the final stages of making," he added.
Sangeetha, Brahmanandam, Sunil, Suman, Brahmaji, Venkat, Prudhvi, Raghu Babu, Sayaji Shinde, Vijay Rangaraju, Banerjee, Chitti Babu, Madhumitha, Sathya Krishna, Sana, Rajitha, ETV Prabhakar, Sameer and others are part of the cast.
