Telangana Devudu' is an upcoming film starring Srikanth and Jishan Usman, among others. Chronicling events that took place from 1969 to 2014, when the birth of Telangana state happened, the film traces the political events linked to KCR, the first CM of Telangana.
Speaking at the film's pre-release event, Telangana Home Minister Mahmood Ali wished the team all the best. "KCR garu played a huge role in securing the statehood. With his developmental activities, the CM has proved skeptics and detractors wrong," he added.
State Minister Srinivas Goud said, "The trailer of this movie reminded me of the movement for statehood. Our CM's people-friendly policies have won him love and admiration."
Srikanth said that he had several doubts about whether he could pull off the character. In the end, however, he could pull it off. He also thanked the two Ministers for gracing the occasion.
Also featuring Sangeetha, Brahmanandam, Sunil, Suman, Brahmaji, and others, the film has music by Nandan Bobbili. It's written and directed by Vadatya Harish.
