The team of 'Telangana Devudu' has wished the people of Telangana on the State Formation Day today. The makers said that their film is about a great leader who launched a movement for Statehood for Telangana by observing the situation since 1969.
"We feel that the Telangana movement is like a guide for the coming generations," they added.
Directed by Vadathya Harish, the film is headlined by Friendly Star Srikanth. Sangeetha, Brahmanandam, Sunil, Suman, Tanikella Bharani and 50 other familiar actors are part of the cast. The film will be released in theaters after the second wave subsides.
The director of the film thanked producer Zakir Usman for bravely bankrolling the film. The producer said that the Statehood happened because of the sacrifices of a number of selfless people.
Made as a biopic of K Chandrasekhar Rao, the film is a realistic depiction of history.
Brahmaji, Venkat, Prudhvi, Raghu Babu, Sayaji Shinde, Vijay Rangaraju, Banerjee, Chitti Babu, Madhumitha, Sathya Krishna, Sana, Rajitha, ETV Prabhakar, and others are part of the cast. Music is by Nandan Bobbili. Cinematography is by A Vijay Kumar. Editing is by Gautham Raju.
