Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is all set to get busy with a biopic. 'Stuartpuram Donga' is its name and the film is a period one set in the 1970s.
Telling the story of the daredevil robber ‘Tiger’ Nageswara Rao, who hailed from Stuartpuram, the biopic is likely to be semi-fictionalized. Talking about the notorious robber, the makers today said that the moniker Tiger was given to Rao when he staged a mighty escape from a famous jail in Madras. Eventually, Rao was eliminated by the police.
Releasing a poster today, the makers said that KS is directing the movie. KS has previously worked under the mass director VV Vinayak. Sree Lakshmi Narasimha Productions is mounting the film on a lavish scale.
Written by the Vennelakanti Brothers, 'SD' has music by Mani Sharma. Shyam K Naidu, Thammiraju and AS Prakash will take care of cinematography, editing and art direction, respectively.
