In the teaser for 'Shyam Singha Roy', Nani's titular character is a Bengali. A saviour. A fighter, a writer. All rolled into one. Sai Pallavi plays a Devadasi who is exploited by the lecherous villain along with her fellow dancers. Writer-director Rahul Sankrityan has told the story of a revolutionary who wields the weapon in saving the victims of an exploitative system.
In his previous birth, Roy was in love with a dancer, played by Sai Pallavi. In the current avatar, he is Vasu who is in love with an urban woman, played by Krithi Shetty.
Also featuring Madonna Sebastian, Rahul Ravindran, Murali Sharma, and Abhinav Gomatam, the film will be released in theatres on December 24.
Producer Venkat S Boyanapalli of Niharika Entertainment has ensured lavish production values. Avinash Kolla's sets are grand, while Sanu John Varghese's cinematography is top-notch. The original story is by Satyadev Janga, while the music is by Mickey J Meyer.
