'Republic' is all slated to stream on ZEE5 from November 26. In an audio statement, Sai Dharam Tej has appealed to one and all to watch the political-action drama on OTT and give the makers their valuable feedback.
At an event held ahead of the OTT release, director Deva Katta spoke of how Sai Tej was broad-minded not to reject the climax despite its nature. He said that the film questions our understanding of the democratic system. Thanking Sai Tej for showing conviction in playing Panja Abhiram in the movie, the director also added that he has explained the screenplay to help the OTT audience grasp the movie better. Jagapathi Babu was all praise for the director, saying that he didn't have the opportunity to do 'Prasthanam' and 'Autonagar Surya'. "'Republic' is meaningful and I feared that the audience might not like it. But their response was very encouraging in theatres," the 'Akhanda' actor added.
