The first song from 'Republic' is out. Composed by Mani Sharma, the song has been rendered by Anurag Kulkarni, Dhanunjay, Hymath Mohammed, Aditya Iyengar, and Prudhvi Chandra. Rahman has penned the lyrics.
The movie, to be released later this year, is directed by Deva Katta. Sharing the song on Twitter, Sai Dharam Tej wrote that he is excited and elated on revealing his first piece of work with Mani Sharma, the composer.
Starring Aishwarya Rajesh as the heroine, the film has Jagapahti Babu and Ramya Krishna in key roles.
Touted to be an intense film, 'Republic' had its teaser out in April. It quoted George Orwell: "In our age, there is no such thing as keeping out of politics," and had a monologue by Tej.
