Director Prashanth Neel has revealed that he entered the film industry with the sole intention of making as much money as he can. In an interview with film critic Baradwaj Rangan, the 'KGF' director revealed an anecdote from his past.
"I was in school when the movie 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun' (Hindi) was released. I came to know the fact that it had made Rs 100 Cr at the box office. That's the biggest figure that I had heard of till then. It struck me that I can make money by doing films," Neel said.
Neel's 'KGF 2', starring Yash and Sanjay Dutt, will hit the cinemas on April 14.
In a recent interview, the director said that 'Salaar 2' has not even been conceived. "I can't spoil the story just for extra money," Neel made it clear.
