Allu Arjun was in New York City on Sunday as India's Grand Marshal at the India Day parade. Crowds numbering lakhs were present at the event.
Sharing his experience of attending the celebrations, the 'Pushpa' actor said that it was nice meeting the Mayor of NYC. In his tweet, Bunny wrote, "It was a pleasure meeting the Mayor of New York City. Very Sportive Gentleman. Thank You for the Honours Mr. Eric Adams. Thaggede Le!" The Mayor and the 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' duo posed with the 'Thaggede Le' mannerism.
"This generous display of love by the fans proves that the icon star is now a global star," wrote Bunny's team on Twitter.
Meanwhile, 'Pushpa 2' is set to go on the floors after the middle of September. Directed by Sukumar, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine.
