Less than two hours after Megastar Chiranjeevi made his Covid-19 positive status official, yet another Telugu film celeb has made his positive status public. He is actor Srikanth, who was recently seen in Balakrishna's 'Akhanda' in a negative role.
Taking to Twitter, Srikanth said that he has tested positive for COVID-19 despite taking necessary precautions. "Some symptoms have been observed for the past couple of days. I request all those who came in contact with me to get tested and closely check up on any symptoms," he added.
Last year, Srikanth was seen in 'Idhe Maa Katha' as a lead man.
He is currently doing Ram Charan's movie with director Shankar. He also has a full-fledged role in 'James', the Kannada movie starring Late Puneeth Rajkumar, slated to head to theatres on March 17. "I am picking characters and projects with care these days. I have played supporting characters, male leads, and now an antagonist in recent years," he said in an interview before the release of 'Akhanda'.
