The teaser launch event of 'Adipurush' was held in Ayodhya on Sunday evening in a grand manner. Speaking on the occasion, Prabhas revealed that he was initially scared to play Lord Rama. He thanked his director, Om Raut, for helping him portray the godly character with finesse.
Kriti Sanon, who plays Sita in the movie, said that the Ramayana is close to everyone and that she feels honored to play the divine character.
Producer Bhushan Kumar said that it has been his dream to make a film on the Ramayana. The film was shot in 101 working days in 2021.
The film, produced by T-Series and UV Creations, is going to hit the cinemas on January 12, 2023.
