It has been reported by sections of the media that Salman Khan is receiving Rs 1,000 Cr as remuneration for hosting Bigg Boss year after year. He has hosted nearly 10 seasons of the Hindi reality show, whose 16th edition is going to be aired soon.
The Bollywood superstar, who will be seen in Chiranjeevi's 'Godfather' on October 5, has commented on the rumour. He said that he will stop working if he ever gets paid one thousand crores. He also joked that he wants to return Rs 1,000 Cr to the TV channel airing Bigg Boss so that the producers are in total profit.
Salman quipped that the Income Tax Department and the Enforcement Directorate read the exaggerated news reports about the fees earned by celebs.
