Regina Cassandra, who was recently seen as Mrinalini Sarabhai in the SonyLIV web series 'Rocket Boys 2', is in the news for a noble reason. "All the women I know, from my mother to the women on my team, are changemakers," the actress recently said in an interview. Looks like she wants to live the ideal by practising philanthropy and by being a social change agent.
She has taken to philanthropy by joining the Democratic Sangha as a co-founder. In her capacity, she has already educated the women of Telangana's Chakaliguda village on reproductive health.
She will be doing more for the NGO's Rural Women's Leadership program in the coming years. In all, 12 areas will be covered in the next twelve months. Capacity building, knowledge building, and other measures will be undertaken. The community development idea is at the heart of the program.
Last year, Regina shook a leg with Chiranjeevi in the song 'Saana Kastham' in 'Acharya'. Her Tamil film 'Borrder' is also up for a theatrical release.
