"There are many chapters that as yet remain undiscovered in our ancient Indian Tantra. Today marks the unveiling of one of those startling secret pages. Buckle up for an enthralling experience on this voyage into the world of Tantra," the makers of 'Tantra' today said, unveiling the teaser for their upcoming supernatural horror thriller wherein Ananya Nagalla of 'Mallesham' and 'Vakeel Saab' fame plays a village woman possessed by an evil spirit. Her character is projected to come with an unpredictable arc of sorts.
Headlined by Dhanush Raghumudri, the film is produced by Naresh Babu P and Ravi Chaitanya. Director Srinivas Gopisetti (with a Walt Disney experience) seems to have cast the likes of Laxman Meesala of 'RX 100' fame and Temper Vamshi in atypical roles, with the latter playing a compromised practitioner of Tantra. Kushalini and Manoj Muthyam are part of the cast.
The nature of the jumpscares is such that Jyoti Chetia's sound design and the special effects are a hallmark of the film, whose release date is yet to be announced.
Sai Ram Uday and Vijay Bhaskar Saddala have done the cinematography, while SB Uddhav is the Editor. With music by RR Dhruvan, the film's art direction is by Guru Murali Krishna.
