Shah Rukh Khan is witnessing a splendorous craze at the box office with 'Pathaan'. The film is going to hit the cinemas on January 25.
As of Saturday morning, two lakh tickets got sold at national chains for the opening day. The number was 1,71,000 tickets on Friday evening. Overnight, another 30,000 tickets got sold.
PVR and Inox are leading the pack with nearly three-fourths of the tickets, while the rest have been sold by Cinepolis.
There are still four days left for the film's release. The numbers are going to go up further.
'KGF 2' last year sold more than 5.15 lakh tickets, while 'Brahmastra' sold more than 3 lakh tickets. 'Pathaan', produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Siddharth Anand, is at No. 3. It can easily cross 'Brahmastra'.
