Puri Jagannadh and Ram Pothineni are back. On Monday, the sequel to 'iSmart Shankar' was made official. Titled 'Double iSmart', the film will go on the floors on July 12.
The pan-India release will arrive at the cinemas on March 8, 2024. It will be the first theatrical release for the 'RED' and 'The Warriorr' actor in 2024.
"DOUBLE the Entertainment! DOUBLE the Action! DOUBLE the Madness! WE R BACK!! #DoubleISMART mode ON! (sic)," wrote the 'Nenu Sailaja' star, sharing the news digitally.
To be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, 'Double iSmart' will be produced by Puri and Charmme Kaur.
The high-octane action entertainer has been in the works for more than two years now. Its release date was confirmed in May this year.
As for Ram, his 'Skanda' will hit the cinemas on September 15 this year. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, its music is by SS Thaman. Sree Leela is its heroine and Srinivasaa Silver Screen's Srinivasaa Chitturi is its producer.
