Vijay Deverakonda's 12th film is going to be helmed by 'Jersey' director Gowtam Tinnanuri. The project was announced in January this year. Sithara Entertainments is planning to commence its shoot in November this year. And the untitled film will hit the cinemas in the second half of 2024.
In his latest interview, producer S Naga Vamsi revealed that the budget of the big-ticket film is going to be more than Rs 100 Cr. If true, VD12 will be the most expensive project in the 'Arjun Reddy' actor's career.
'Liger' was claimed to have been made at a higher cost but that claim hasn't been taken at face value by many. Vijay wasn't paid in full for that movie in any case.
VD12 has music by Anirudh Ravichander, who the producer is confident is going to take the film to the next level. It has also been reconfirmed that Sree Leela is the film's heroine. With cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, the film has editing and art direction by Naveen Nooli and Avinash Kolla, respectively.
