Vijay Deverakonda's 12th film is going to be helmed by 'Jersey' director Gowtam Tinnanuri. The project was announced in January 2023. Sithara Entertainments is said to be investing Rs 100 Cr on the project.
On Tuesday, a rumour went out that the project, meant to be released in multiple languages, has been shelved. The reason cited is that the budget was too high for VD's market.
As per a publicist associated with the Telugu film industry, the project is very much on. It will go on the floors in the first or second week of March after VD finishes his current assignment, 'Family Star', directed by Parasuram Petla.
The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander. It has also been confirmed that Netflix owns its post-theatrical digital rights. With cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, the film has editing and art direction by Naveen Nooli and Avinash Kolla, respectively.
