'Dhruva Natchathiram' is slated to be released in theatres on November 24. While its trailer has failed to create any buzz, its technicians and director Gautham Vasudev Menon are trying their best to create a degree of hype among the Tamil audience via social media.
A curious aspect of the making of the action thriller, which was in the making for six years, is that three cinematographers worked on it: Manoj Paramahamsa, SR Kathir, and Vishnu Dev.
For Paramahamsa, who is known for 'Radhe Shyam', the recent 'Leo' and the upcoming 'Guntur Kaaram', 'Dhruva Nachathiram' marks the first film for which he used his own full frame lenses and 8k cameras for lots of action rigs. "We travelled to seven countries in two months time. It was a hell of a crazy ride to capture all the action sequence," the director of photography wrote on Twitter.
Will tidbits of this sort help to create any interest in the movie? Or, will such factoids get drowned?
The film, co-starring Vikram and Ritu Varma, also features Radhakrishnan Parthiban, R Radikaa Sarathkumar, Simran, Vinayakan, Divya Dharshini, and others. Its music is by Harris Jayaraj.
