'Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty' is slated to hit the cinemas on September 7. The film's hero Naveen Polishetty and director Mahesh Babu P today interacted with the media.
Speaking on the occasion, Polishetty said, "The reception to the trailer has boosted our confidence. I focussed exclusively on this project for two years to ensure that I stayed invested in my character. This is a clean family entertainer with no dialogues or scenes that make you uncomfortable."
"Our promotional tours witnessed teeming crowds everywhere. We are also planning a US tour. I will be in Dallas on September 6 for the premiere of our movie. New Jersey, Chicago, Illinois, Bay Area, Seattle and a few other locations will be covered during the tour," the hero said. "I and Anushka Shetty have done a promotional interview with Suma garu. It will be out on Tuesday," Naveen said.
"Our movie is coming out on Krishnashtami. Just as Lord Krishna is known for his naughty behaviour as a child, our film, too, is naughty," the actor quipped.
"Due to post-production delays, we couldn't release this film for Summer. Previously, 'Jathi Ratnalu' was delayed by one year. Both my films have witnessed delays co-incidentally. We have made 'Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty' in such a way that nobody compares it unfavourably with 'Jathi Ratnalu'," he added.
