In 'Kalki 2898 AD', Amitabh Bachchan will be seen as an immortal character. Ashwatthama is his name in the movie. The mythological connection is obvious. On Sunday, a dedicated glimpse video for his character was put out by Vyjayanthi Movies. Director Nag Ashwin has made use of the video to imply that the legendary actor's character in the film is going to be larger-than-life.
"It's been an experience for me like no other... The mind to think such a product, the execution, the exposure to modern technology and above all, the company of colleagues with stratospheric Superstar presence (sic)," Big B wrote on X.
The video shows Big B in a youngish avatar for a split second. The look was pulled off using de-aging technology.
Starring Prabhas in the lead, the Aswini Dutt-produced international release has Deepika Padukone in a key role. Kamal Haasan will be seen in a negative role. Its release date is yet to be made official.
