Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi of 'Munnabhai MBBS' fame is in the news for saying that Prabhas looked like a "joker" in his recent blockbuster 'Kalki 2898 AD'. In a podcast clip that has gone viral on social media, he added that Amitabh Bachchan’s performance as Ashwatthama was likeable in the movie.
“Prabhas, I am really sad but, why was he was like a joker. Why? I want to see a 'Mad Max' yaar, I want to see Mel Gibson over there. What have you made it. Why do filmmakers do this, I will never understand,” Arshad added.
Arshad Warsi had high expectations from Prabhas. If anything, he is complaining that the 'Baahubali' star was reduced to a less serious role in the film. That was not an anti-Prabhas comment at all. Directed by Nag Ashwin, 'Kalki 2898 AD' will have a sequel in which the 'Salaar' actor is going to have a role that might satisfy Arshad's sensibilities and tastes.
Prabhas' fans are unhappy, though. They are of the view that Arshad Warsi has insulted their favourite star hero.
