Vyjayanthi Movies recently locked the release date of 'Kalki 2898 AD'. The sci-fi project, starring Prabhas in the lead role, will head to theatres on May 9 this year.
Meanwhile, one of the most important schedules of the "pan-world" project is set to commence later this week. Besides the 'Salaar' actor, 'Vikram' actor Kamal Haasan, star heroine Deepika Padukone, and the sizzling Disha Patani will also participate in the schedule. Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is the only major star who has completed shooting for his portions.
It is rumoured that the film will feature the celebrated director SS Rajamouli, 'Mahanati' and 'Sita Ramam' actor Dulquer Salmaan and one another film celeb in cameos.
With cinematography by Djordje Stojiljkovic, the futuristic sci-fi entertainer has music by Santhosh Narayanan.
Prabhas is also doing Maruthi-directed 'Raja Saab', which is produced by People Media Factory. The film, whose music is by Thaman and cinematography is by Karthik Palani, is likely to hit the cinemas in the last quarter of this year.
