Prabhas' epic sci-fi action actioner 'Kalki 2898 AD' is on a record-breaking run in Hindi. The film is expected to smash through the prestigious Rs 200 Cr club at the domestic box office on Sunday. This is the Indian business of the Hindi version in Nett. box office terms.
This achievement signifies a massive win for the dystopian Nag Ashwin directorial movie, which has seen strong growth across the country, performing well in both major cities and smaller towns. Trade analysts predict the multi-starrer will today become the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024. This means it will surpass the lifetime collections of the previously reigning champion, 'Fighter', starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.
'Kalki', produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, grossed Rs 800 Cr worldwide as of Saturday for all languages. Co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan, the film has music by Santhosh Narayanan.
