Kajal Aggarwal is going to be seen as Goddess Parvathi in 'Kannappa', starring Manchu Vishnu in the titular role. In her most recent interview, the 'Magadheera' actress revealed why she is doing the epic devotional movie slated to be released in theatres later this year.
"I have always been a huge fan of Indian scriptures and history. I love our Gods and Goddesses. I read about our deities and mythology in my free time," Kajal said.
"I am doing 'Kannappa' for the thrill of it. Even if it is a short role, I am okay. I have no qualms in taking a backseat if the role needs me to," she said. Prabhas and others are part of the cast of 'Kannappa', which has been shot in New Zealand in the main.
Kajal awaits the release of 'Satyabhama' on June 7. The cop thriller is a female-centric film.
