It has been rumoured that C Aswini Dutt wishes to hold a grand pre-release event of 'Kalki 2898 AD' in Amaravathi. He feels that it would be symbolic if the event were held in the capital city of Andhra Pradesh at a time when his favourite political party, the TDP, has come to power.
As per the buzz in the media, Prabhas has asked Dutt to call off the plans. As someone who always stays away from acquiring any shade of political affiliation, the 'Salaar' actor feels that holding the event in Amaravathi will be a needless flex.
'Kalki 2898 AD' is going to be released in theatres on June 27. The absence of a major buzz in Hindi is palpable.
Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Rajendra Prasad and others, the film's music is by Santhosh Narayanan. A song titled 'Bhairava Anthem' is out. Three more songs are going to be released in the coming days.
