After 'Pushpa 2' was postponed from August 15 to December 6, Tollywood producers and distributors are finding the Independence Day weekend extremely attractive. Here are the movies that have been slated for an August 15th release as of now.
Announced dates:
1. Ram Pothineni-starrer 'Double iSmart' is the first one. Here is a caveat: It is said that Puri Jagannadh and his Puri Connects may not be able to release the mass action entertainer on this date even though they want to.
2. '35 - Chinna Katha Kaadu' is also scheduled for the date. Nivetha Thomas, Priyadarshi, Vishwa Dev, Gautami and Bhagyaraj feature in this release by Suresh Productions.
3. 'AAY' is another movie that has chosen I-Day. The film is coming from the GA2 Pictures stable.
Rumoured/unconfirmed releases on I-Day:
1. 'Lucky Bhaskar', starring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead, might also choose the date.
2. Gopichand-starrer 'Viswam' is also interested in the date.
