Sathyaraj attained India-wide popularity with 'Baahubali: The Beginning'. SS Rajamouli, by casting him as Kattappa in the magnum opus, altered his career forever.
The news is that he has been roped in to play the chief antagonist in AR Murugadoss' 'Sikandar' with actor Salman Khan. The Bollywood project is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and stars Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine. Set to go on the floors in June, the film will be huge for Sathyaraj, who played an interesting role in SRK's 'Chennai Express' many years ago.
Sathyaraj is also doing a Narendra Modi biopic, to be made and released in multiple languages. In Telugu, the actor is known for his characters in Nani's Jersey, Sai Dharam Tej's Prati Roju Pandage, Gopichand's Pakka Commercial, and Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya, among others. Prabhas' Mirchi and Mahesh Babu's Brahmotsavam are also among his well-known movies in Telugu.
