Beautiful actress Taapsee Pannu, who is popular for making comments on the Telugu actors and filmmakers, has went ahead in a talk show with a comedy YouTube channel and made disparaging comments against Telugu cinema and on legendary director Raghavendra Rao garu. The actress, who earned fame all over India with distinct films like ‘Pink’ and ‘Ghazi’, has made her Tollywood debut through K Raghavendra Rao’s directorial ‘Jhummandi Naadam’.
Tapsee made fun of being hit by coconuts on her midriff in a song from ‘Jhummandi Naadam’. She said, “I was not clearly prepared for this. The director, who launched me is known for launching actresses, has made over 100 films and has launched Sridevi and Jayasudha. They were apparently hit by flowers and fruits on their midriff. I was hit by a coconut. I don’t know what is so sensuous about hitting a girl on her midriff.” She added, “South cinema industry only recognized me that I can act after watching films like ‘Pink’ and ‘Naam Shabana’.”
Taapsee Pannu is making her comeback in Tollywood through a horror comedy ‘Anando Brahma’ produced by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy and directed by Mahi V Raghav. The film is slated for release on August 18.
