In the trailer for 'Naa Saami Ranga', Nagarjuna's Kishtaiah equates himself with a calamity. He is like a flood, threatening to sweep up anyone who comes in his way. Director Vijay Binni lets Nag show ease in the romantic scenes (with Ashika Ranganath) and swag in action sequences. The shot in which Nag skillfully lights a cigarette using the intense heat from a swiftly moving iron rod beside him is truly remarkable.
The film, produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi, is slated to hit the cinemas on January 14. Fittingly, Nag greets the audience with a Happy Sankranthi in the form of a parting shot to a negative character in the trailer.
Allari Naresh's character is next only to Nag's in terms of importance. Also featuring Raj Tarun, Mirnaa Menon, and Rukshar Dhillon in supporting roles, the film has Nassar in the role of Kishtaiah's employer. Harshavardhan plays a cop, while Rao Ramesh is also seen.
The film, with music by MM Keeravani, has cinematography by Shivendra Dasaradhi.
