Niharika Konidela made her acting debut with 'Oka Manasu' in 2016. The conversational romantic drama was fronted by her along with Naga Shaurya. The actress went on to do 'Happy Wedding' and 'Suryakantham'. The actress has only three films to her credit in nearly eight years. Did Niharika not do many acting offers? If yes, what is the reason?
In her latest interview, Niharika said that many producers/directors didn't approach her due to some misgivings. They felt that she would not be ready for subjects that are not heroine-centric in nature. "They also presumed that they might need to give narrations to not just me but also 4-5 people (from my family)," Niharika said.
She feels that she was blessed to generate above-average openings for her very acting debut, back in 2016. "The surname, Konidela, helped me grab such openings. Had I not been from the Konidela family, such openings would not have been possible," Niharika says.
Niharika Konidela, as a producer, awaits the theatrical release of 'Committee Kurrollu' on August 9. She has started participating in its promotional interviews.
