India's biggest musical reality show, Telugu Indian Idol, kicked off its third season on Aha. Most sought-after composer SS Thaman, along with sublime singing talents Karthik and Geetha Madhuri, form the judging panel for this mega musical show.
Aha and the makers of the reality musical show are happy to announce that the show is trending big on Aha, thanks to the mixture of both emotions and entertainment.
Hosted by Sreerama Chandra, talented contestants from both India and abroad are set to prove their vocal talents. The first two audition episodes have heightened expectations for the show. The first episode began with a musical treat, featuring one of Mani Sharma's evergreen melodies. Contestant Keerthi received a golden mic alongside Thaman for her performance. The following contestants also entertained the audience with their exceptional singing.
Anirudh Suswaram, who impressed the judges with his energetic vocals in the second episode, won the Golden Mic and the Performer of the Week title. Anirudh Suswaram has already lent his voice to a song in the movie 'Chaavu Kaburu Challaga'. He came to Telugu Indian Idol to consolidate his position.
Ms. Dhruti, who participated in the last season but wasn't selected, returned this year. Devastated by her father's passing, she aims to fulfill his dream of seeing her on the Telugu Indian Idol stage. Her performance of 'Talachi Talachi' impressed the judges.
The auditions clearly demonstrate that winning golden mics and golden tickets is no easy feat. Telugu Indian Idol Season 3 airs every Friday and Saturday at 7 PM on Aha.
