'Kalki 2898 AD' is going to be streamed on two different OTT platforms post its theatrical release. The film's Hindi version's digital rights are with Netflix. On the other hand, its Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions' rights are with Amazon Prime Video.
Vyjayanathi Movies tried to maxmize its revenue by selling off the rights to two different platforms. A similar strategy was adopted by DVV Entertainment, which sold SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' to Netflix and ZEE5.
On Monday evening, a grand event will be held at Ramoji Film City by producer C Aswini Dutt to introduce Bujji (a robotic character from 'Kalki') to the audience. The rumour is that Prabhas is going to burst forth on to the stage in a flying car that was made at a cost of Rs 2 Cr. The public event will see the presence of thousands of Prabhas' fans.
The film will hit the cinemas on June 27. It is directed by Nag Ashwin.
